Mediagarn NeC 10/4 yarn, mercerized, is made from 100% organic cotton certified GOTS (Global Organic Textil Standard) and dyed according to Oeko-Tex Standard 100. Sold in 100 g (425 m) spools. .
This cotton yarn, both soft and shiny, is perfect for weaving, knitting, crocheting and macrame.
In weaving: used as warp and weft yarn, for example for placemats, clothes, draperies, bags, decorative objects, etc. Weaving density: from 3 to 6 yarns per cm, depending on the type of weaving. Particularly suitable as a warp thread for tapestries.
In knitting: To make sweaters and summer vests, children's clothes, layette, small bags, etc. Knitted with needles 2.5 – 3.5. Sample 10 x 10 cm in jersey, with needles n° 3: approx. 26 stitches and 38 rows.
Mediagarn cotton is available in a beautiful range of 33 colors.
Machine or hand wash, up to 60°. No bleach or tumble dryer.
